Wayne R. Cichowicz, D.N., D.A.A.P.M., F.A.B.S., President  
Naprapathic Medicine, National College of Naprapathic Medicine

Dr.Cichowicz is Board Certified in Naprapathic Medicine, a connective tissue specialist whose practice focuses on pain management, physical medicine and clinical nutrition. He is a Board Certified Naprapath (Neuromyologist) and Board Certified as a Clinical Nutritional Specialist (C.N.S.) through the American College of Nutrition. Dr. Cichowicz is Dean Emeritus of The National College of Naprapathic Medicine, a Fellow of the American Back Society (F.A.B.S.) and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management (D.A.A.P.M.).
Carol Gentile, Vice President  
A life-time advocate for natural and holistic medicine, Carol Gentile is co-owner of WJJG AM-1530 in Elmhurst, Ill.  One of the station's anchor programs is "That Healthy Talk Show," broadcast locally and over the Internet every week.  She brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing, advocacy and administrative roles with not-for-profit organizations and small businesses in a variety of industries to the American College of Physical Medicine and its executive team.  Well-known for her philanthropic work in Chicago, Gentile and her family funded the Joe Gentile Center at Loyola University-Chicago. 

Theresa Roti, Treasurer  
Theresa M. Roti, brings more than 25 years of advertising, marketing, promotions and entrepreneurial start-up experience to American College of Physical Medicine from industries ranging from restaurants and technical recruiting to automotive advertising.  Roti is one of the first female publishers of target automotive advertising magazines in the country.  She currently owns and operates AutoSource St. Louis.

David B. Phillips, Ph.D., Chairman of Neurology Board Committee  
David B. Phillips, Ph.D.is a worldwide recognized expert in the electrophysiology of nerve transmission. He also has over 30 years of experience treating neuropathy patients and teaching doctors internationally how to treat those patients.  In addition, Dr. Phillips is the inventor of the ReBuilder System for Neuropathy, the system used exclusively by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America to not only treat the chemo-induced neuropathy patients, but also, by using it in the infusion suite, to avoid the painful side effects of their chemotherapy.

Dr. Phillips has a 40-year history of inventing medical devices from a Breast Cancer Detection System proven at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NY, to an electro-dermal actual cure for the childhood skin disease, Molluscum Contagiosum.  In 1988, he was awarder “Inventor of The Year” for the first infrared ear thermometer.

Daniel L. Richardson, Ph.D., D.A.A.N.C., Chairman
Pharmacology, Loyola University, Chicago

Dr. Daniel Richardson is an expert on the complex subjects of Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy.  He is particularly known for his skill in demystifying both subjects in a manner that anyone can easily understand.  Dr. Richardson holds faculty and administrative positions at both the National College of Naprapathic Medicine and the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Ill.

Martin Buno is a Certified Personal Trainer and holds certifications from the ISSA in Performance Nutrition, Senior Fitness Specialist, Fitness Therapist and Sports Specific.

Julie M. Cichowicz, R.N., B.S.N.
Nursing, Bradley University

Julie Cichowicz is a Licensed Registered Nurse specializing in ambulatory surgery. Her nursing career has included responsibilities in medical surgical, pediatrics and critical care. Given this broad health care experience, she provides the American College of Physical Medicine invaluable counsel on how best to build strong connections and relationships between physical medicine and other health care specialties.  She is a 1978 graduate of the Bradley University School of Nursing.

Clive Hazell, Ph.D.
Counseling Psychology, Northwestern University

Dr. Clive Hazell, is a professor at DeVry University, and holds adjunct appointments at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  Dr. Hazell is a nationally certified counselor who has written a number of books on psychology and the social sciences.  He is a regular author and contributor to leading psychology journals worldwide. Dr. Hazell received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., in 1982.

Nikol Margiotta, D.N., F.A.A.F.R.M., A.B.A.A.H.P.

Dr. Margiotta is Board Certified in Naprapathic Medicine and serves on the board of directors of the Illinois Naprapathic Association.  She also is board certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Functional Medicine.  Her practice specialties include weight loss, stress management, menopause, food sensitivities and chronic fatigue.  She is as frequent contributor to the Journal of the American Naprapathic Association.

Robert J. Marshall, Ph.D., C.C.N., D.A.C.B.N.
Certified Clinical Nutritionist, International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists, Texas
Dr. Marshall is one of the foremost authorities on nutrition in the United States.  He is a clinical nutritionist and is CEO of Premier Research Labs in Austin, Texas.  He has served as a clinical nutrition instructor at the Cleveland Chiropractic College and the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN).  He is past president of the IAACN.  He also is a Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition.  A researcher, lecturer and sought-after media spokesperson and guest, Dr. Marshall is a prolific writer on nutritional subjects. For over 20 years, Dr. Robert J. Marshall has been the CEO of Premier Research Labs (Austin, TX) and is the host of HealthLine Live, a lively daily nutritional radio talk show syndicated in over 50 major metropolitan areas in the US, reaching an estimated 50 million people.
Carolyn McMakin, D.C.

Frequency protocol development began in 1995 and Dr. McMakin began teaching FSM in 1997. Since then hundreds of practitioners around the world have taken the FSM seminar and use this amazing new technique to help patients recover from myofascial pain, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, concussion and many other health concerns. The FSM seminar has evolved into a three day 24 hour seminar that teaches the frequency protocols, differential diagnosis of pain complaints and hands on use of the Microcurrent equipment. Michael Morgenstern, M.D.
Orthopedics, Chicago Medical School

Dr. Michael Morgenstern has practiced medicine in Chicago, Ill., since 1974.  He is a graduate of the Chicago Medical School.  He received a Fellowship in Children and Adult Spinal Deformities.  He served as Assistant Chief of Orthopedics at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago from 1976-1980.

Judith A. Thatcher, P.T., C.F.M.T.
Physical Therapy, University of Missouri

Judith Thatcher is a licensed Physical Therapist who has practiced for more than 30 years.  She is one of small number of physical therapists in the United States who hold the prestigious Certified Functional Manual Therapist designation, an honor awarded her by the Institute of Physical Art.  Her physical therapy specialties are women's health and outpatient orthopedics.  She created and presently heads the women's health practice in physical therapy at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Ill. A physical therapy teacher, she has taught CME/CEU courses in the specialty and lab assisted many others. 

Daniel E. Varanauski, D.N.
Naprapathic Medicine, National College of Naprapathic Medicine

Dr. Varanauski is Board Certified in Naprapathic Medicine, and owner of Lakeshore Integrative Healthcare in Chicago, Ill.  He is a specialist in connective tissue therapies, nutrition and stress management.  He is a member of the American Naprapathic Association and International Association of Integrative Medicine. 
B. Tony Zayner, D.N., L.Ac, M.S.O.M., M.S.Ed.
Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, Midwest College of Oriental Medicine

Dr. Bernard "Tony" Zayner has been a martial artist and student of Chinese philosophy and culture for over 40 years. He has owned and operated martial arts schools and in 1988-1989 was the undefeated U.S. National Tai Chi Push Hands champion. In 1989, he moved to Taiwan to work for six government ministries.  He also taught at three of the country's premier universities. Currently, he is a Naprapath and Acupuncturist professor at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
